The AVB Women’s Football Strategic Plan 2026–2030 was officially launched during a special event held recently at the Guillermo P. Trinidad Sports Complex, marking a significant step forward in the development of women’s football in Aruba.
The Arubaanse Voetbal Bond (AVB) introduced the plan as part of its broader strategic vision, placing women’s football as one of the main pillars of the federation’s development strategy.
Major Progress in Women’s Football
In recent years, women’s football in Aruba has seen notable growth, with increased participation and development opportunities. Through the AVB Women’s Football Strategic Plan 2026–2030, the federation aims to further strengthen the sport by focusing on structured development and professionalization.

Support from the Aruba Olympic Committee
The Aruba Olympic Committee (COA) welcomed the initiative and congratulated AVB for its efforts to promote women’s football as part of its national sports strategy.
COA highlighted that the AVB Women’s Football Strategic Plan 2026–2030 demonstrates strong governance and aligns with the global Olympic movement’s goals of gender equality and inclusion in sports.
