The University of Aruba has recognized its 2025-26 Student Ambassadors during the 15th annual awards ceremony, honoring leadership, service and contributions beyond academic performance.
Students recognized across faculties and offices
Recipients included Dayna Albertus, Sabrine Setrodjemino, Stephen Richards, Cendeline Boekhoudt, Derron de Mey, Damon Illes, Lianne Candelaria, Jurstin Paesch, Lucirene Tromp and Keon Dania. The university also recognized a group of Organization, Governance and Management students identified as Dieter Croes, Roan, Brandon and Ronan.
Honorees represented academic programs and university offices including the Academic Foundation Year, International Affairs, Sustainable Engineering, Social Work and Development, law, hospitality and tourism, finance and economics, the library and bookstore, and student affairs.
Music Club named club of the year
The UA Music Club was named Student Club of the Year for 2025-26. The university said the group has contributed to Easter activities, Open House and other campus events.
The University of Aruba Student Ambassadors are selected for involvement in campus or community life, willingness to support others, communication skills and positive contributions to the university experience. The ceremony used the theme “A Legacy of 15 Years.”
