A DUO Aruba visit is planned for November 9 to 20 to help former students with study-debt questions and repayment arrangements, according to an October 23 report by DIARIO.
Borrowers urged to review their 2027 amounts
The report says borrowers will receive a message in November about their monthly repayment amount for 2027. Former students are encouraged to check whether the calculation takes their income into account and to provide income information when necessary.
Depending on income, a borrower’s monthly repayment can be zero, the report explains. It recommends bringing income declarations for 2024 and 2025 when seeking help with the calculation.
Support includes account access and payment questions
DUO service staff can discuss arrears, uncertainty about outstanding amounts, payments in local currency and problems accessing Mijn DUO. The report also announces information sessions for prospective students and parents in the Caribbean in cooperation with Dutch higher-education institutions.
DIARIO directs readers to duo.nl/bezoekcariben for current visit locations, opening hours and session details. Its article does not provide a specific Aruba office address or appointment schedule.
