CUA membership has grown by more than fifty companies this year, Comerciante Uni Aruba president Frans Ponson told 24ora in a report published November 4. The organisation marked the end of its annual activity programme with a gathering of local traders.
Ponson describes wider participation
Ponson said he was pleased with the organisation’s growth and the number of businesspeople attending its closing activity. He described increasing interest among traders in joining a body representing small businesses in Aruba.
Digital platform supports member contact
The report also describes CUA’s app as a way for users to view products and services and for registered participants to access functions including chat and company information. These features are presented as the organisation’s description of its platform.
The membership increase is attributed to Ponson. The source does not provide an independently audited total membership count, identify all newly joined companies or say that fifty new businesses were established on the island.
