The Title Aruba is preparing a November 7 combat-sports event in memory of Manuel Da Silva, organisers told 24ora in a report published November 4. The programme is planned for Sporthall Santa Cruz, also known as Centro Deportivo Betico Croes.
Ten bouts and mainly local competitors
Organiser Ludwig Leito said the card would include ten bouts across boxing, kickboxing and other combat disciplines, with most competitors from Aruba. Two visiting athletes were announced: one from Colombia to face La Moria and one from Curacao to face Jaquan Cruz.
Event honours Da Silva’s sporting legacy
The event is scheduled from 7 p.m. on November 7 until 1 a.m. Matchmaker Jair Leito described it as the fourth edition of The Title and linked the initiative to providing local athletes with competitive experience at home.
Organisers said the memorial edition comes a year after Da Silva’s death. The published programme is a plan, not confirmation that the bouts have taken place; results were not available in the source.
