An ELMAR book donation has supported the addition of Max y e Taki Encanta to the libraries of Filomena Basis School and Teresita Basis School, according to a November 4 report by 24ora.
Papiamento story joins school collections
The children’s book was written by Esmeralda Tromp-Jacobs, known as Tanchi Esme, and illustrated by Gairo Tromp. The report says copies now form part of the two school libraries, giving pupils another opportunity to read local literature in Papiamento.
Partnership focuses on reading
The donation follows collaboration between ELMAR and the author to encourage reading and expand available library collections. Tanchi Esme thanked the company for helping make the book available to students.
The report links the support to ELMAR’s earlier involvement in the 2025 children’s book festival, while describing this school donation as the current activity. It does not state how many copies were donated or give a financial value.
