The Aruba Hi-Winds 2026 watersports festival is set to return this spring, marking its 38th edition from May 13 to May 18, 2026, at Sarah-Quita Beach.
Since its launch in 1986, Aruba Hi-Winds has become the Caribbean’s longest-running watersports festival, attracting athletes and spectators from around the world to Aruba’s ideal wind conditions.
The Aruba Hi-Winds 2026 watersports festival will feature competitions across seven disciplines, including windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and mountain biking. Events include slalom and long-distance races, as well as freestyle competitions.
The festival has a strong history of hosting international competitions, such as the PWA Youth Slalom World Cup (2024), IFCA Pan American Slalom Championships (2022), and the PWA Aruba Hi-Winds Grand Slam (2011).
Spectators can attend the event free of charge, enjoying beachside views at Sarah-Quita Beach as competitors take part in both water and land-based events.
Organizers have also opened registration and sponsorship opportunities. Interested participants or partners can contact the event team via email or visit the official website for more information.
