On Tuesday afternoon, a collision involving four vehicles occurred on the main road connecting the airport to Mahuma. Police patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene following reports of the accident.
Upon arrival, officers determined that a vehicle had overturned near the roadway, significantly limiting visibility for oncoming traffic. This obstruction triggered a chain of collisions: one car rear-ended an SUV, while a pickup truck towing a trailer struck another SUV, pushing it into the median.
Emergency medical services attended to three individuals who sustained injuries during the incident. Authorities also noted that the SUV which was rear-ended was struck by another large vehicle, which subsequently fled the scene following the impact.
