A Tanki Flip fire outside Ten Sin supermarket threatened the building early on Friday, November 6, according to English 24ora. The outlet placed the outbreak at around 6 a.m. near the Tanki Flip Fire Station.
Crews contain flames beside the supermarket
English 24ora reported that firefighters found flames behind a large door next to the business. Crews directed water at the fire to keep it from spreading to the upper part of the building, while police also attended.
Gas cylinders removed during response
In a separate account of the same incident, AWE24 reported that firefighters removed three full gas cylinders from behind a metal door and continued cooling them. That report also said people upstairs had still been asleep when crews arrived.
Cause remains unconfirmed
The reports describe firefighters bringing the blaze under control. English 24ora reported considerable damage but said the cause remained unknown. The available accounts do not establish an official damage estimate.
