ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Interdisciplinary artist Velvet Zoe Ramos will present her solo exhibition “Interlasado: Paralel” at the National Library of Aruba from July 10 to July 31, 2026.
The exhibition will be displayed in the library’s exhibition hall in Oranjestad and will be open to the public during regular library hours. The official opening is scheduled for July 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Curated by Irvin Aguilar, the exhibition showcases Ramos’ work across multiple artistic disciplines, including handcrafted ceramics, painting and video projection. The collection explores themes inspired by nature, seeds and women while highlighting the artistic value of clay, a medium the artist believes deserves equal recognition alongside traditional fine arts.
“Interlasado: Paralel” forms part of Ramos’ broader artistic practice, which also includes performance art, filmmaking, printmaking, food art and video art, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to contemporary creative expression.
