The Aruba Guardianship Council, known as DVR, has marked its 120th anniversary with a new visual identity, renovated offices and a newly designed children’s room.
Anniversary highlighted a sensitive public role
DVR celebrated with partners from Aruba’s social and legal sectors. The organization works to protect minors and other vulnerable people, including through interventions and decisions in difficult family situations, according to English 24ora.
Justice Minister Arthur Dowers thanked the council in a video message and emphasized the government’s responsibility to act when a minor’s well-being is at risk.
Renovated room aims to reduce stress for children
The new children’s room was designed to provide a calmer and more secure environment for minors who visit DVR during what may be an emotional experience.
The anniversary program also introduced a new logo and visual identity. DVR described the changes as a way to respect its history while modernizing and strengthening its work with justice agencies, social partners and the community.
