ORANJESTAD – Rotaract Club of Aruba officially installed its new Board of Directors for the 2026–2027 Rotary year during a special ceremony celebrating the club’s achievements and leadership transition.
Outgoing President Karel Arends thanked the outgoing board for its dedication and highlighted the club’s accomplishments over the past year. During the event, several members and projects were recognized for their outstanding contributions.
The club’s annual YOU, Inc. – Excel Professionally & Beyond seminar received the Project of the Year award. The 2026 edition focused on the theme “Orange Economy: Protect Your Creativity, Own Your Future,” encouraging entrepreneurship, creativity and intellectual property awareness among Aruba’s youth.
Endrick Leon received the Member of the Year award for his dedication, leadership and positive impact within the organization.
The evening concluded with the official installation of Luisa Arcila as President of Rotaract Club of Aruba for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. Outgoing President Karel Arends was also honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award in recognition of his service and lasting contribution to the club.
