Bureau Traimerdia has marked 30 years of work supporting children in Aruba after school. The organization used the anniversary to recognize its history, staff and continued community role.
According to AWE24’s anniversary report, Bureau Traimerdia has spent three decades developing services centered on children’s well-being and growth outside regular school hours.
Anniversary program included staff well-being
The celebration included a workshop on mental health and well-being. Bureau Traimerdia described staff care as an important part of building a strong and sustainable organization.
The workshop was organized with Aruba’s Department of Human Resources and Department of Social Affairs. The Ministry of Education also contributed to the anniversary program.
Three decades of after-school service
Bureau Traimerdia said the milestone was an opportunity to honor people who have contributed to the organization and to recognize the team continuing its work with children.
The organization said it is looking ahead with a renewed commitment to serving Aruba’s young people while building on the work completed during its first 30 years.
