A male tourist died following a Riu Antillas medical emergency early Thursday morning, according to a report from the scene.
Caller reported an unresponsive spouse
Police and ambulance personnel were dispatched to Riu Antillas after a tourist called to report that a spouse was lying on the floor and was not responding. Responders arrived and confirmed that the man was unresponsive.
Emergency team performed CPR
Ambulance personnel administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation and were initially able to resuscitate the man. He was then transported to hospital for further treatment.
