ORANJESTAD, Aruba – A pedestrian hit on Santa Helenastraat was rushed to hospital Saturday night after being struck by a Suzuki Ignis near Harmony Supermarket.
Police and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene after authorities received a report of a traffic accident involving an injured person.
Elderly Pedestrian Rushed to Hospital
When officers arrived, they determined that a Suzuki Ignis had struck an elderly male pedestrian.
Due to the seriousness of his injuries, emergency medical assistance was requested with maximum urgency. Paramedics treated the man at the scene before transporting him to the hospital for further medical care.
