Two experienced officers return to Aruba Police after formally reaffirming their commitment to serve the force and the community.
First-class brigadiers completed their oath
Justice Minister Arthur Dowers administered the oath to E. Perez and N. Hijmering on Wednesday. Both hold the rank of first-class brigadier and had spent periods outside the Aruba Police Force, according to 24ora.
The ceremony formalized their return and renewed their responsibilities as members of KPA.
Experience returns to community service
Dowers welcomed the officers back and emphasized the value of personnel who already understand the profession and have field experience.
The two officers are now officially back with KPA and can again apply their knowledge to public safety work in Aruba. The source did not specify their new assignments or the length of their earlier service.
