ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Since opening about six weeks ago, the Ban Studia office together with EducationUSA has received many visits from students seeking information about higher education opportunities both locally and internationally.
According to Minister Gerlien Croes, the office was created to provide equal access to academic guidance and professional educational information for Aruba’s youth.
Ban Studia and EducationUSA support students throughout the academic orientation process by offering personalized counseling, including interest assessments to help identify talents and study preferences.
Based on these evaluations, students receive guidance about possible study opportunities in Aruba, the Netherlands, the United States, and other destinations.
The organization also actively participates in presentations at schools and educational events across Aruba.
Recently, students from YNZ Montessori School Aruba visited the office and received detailed information about studying in the United States, including the “five steps” process for higher education applications.
Ban Studia and EducationUSA also participated in the “Beroepen Oriëntatiedag” at Colegio San Antonio, where students learned about career opportunities and academic programs.
Officials stated that the initiative aims to strengthen educational orientation in Aruba and help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
