The Aruba diesel price rose sharply on September 9, reaching Afl. 3.100 per liter, while gasoline recorded a small increase and kerosene also became more expensive.
Diesel increases by 23.7 cents
Diesel ULS moved from Afl. 2.863 to Afl. 3.100 per liter, an increase of 23.7 cents. Unleaded premium gasoline rose by 0.9 cent, from Afl. 2.909 to Afl. 2.918. Kerosene increased by 19.0 cents to Afl. 2.756 per liter.
Two-month diesel increase reaches 53.4 cents
NoticiaCla reported that diesel had already increased by 29.7 cents in August, bringing the combined rise over two months to 53.4 cents per liter from approximately Afl. 2.566 in July. The Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs and the Primary Sector announced the new prices. The figures include BBO, BAZV and BAVP taxes.
