Supervisory board will lead the search
Infrastructure and Telecommunications Minister Rene Herde said the government prefers to leave the appointment of a new director to SETAR’s supervisory board. The decision follows discussions involving the minister, Croes, the board and union STT after workers raised concerns about uncertainty over the company’s leadership.
Transition is intended to protect continuity
Croes had been expected to retire in October. According to 24ora, an arrangement discussed this week would keep him in place for a two-year transition while the company works on the CELIA project and prepares a successor.
