Program combines study and internship
A Washington scholarship is open to eligible Aruba students for June and July 2027 through The Fund for American Studies. The two-month program combines an internship in Washington, D.C., courses at George Mason University, visits to federal institutions and embassies, and networking activities.
Aruba students can apply from any university
The opportunity is available to Dutch-nationality students from Aruba who are studying on the island, in the Netherlands or at another university. Bachelor’s and master’s students in any field may apply if they are interested in the program.
Applications close October 8
The Netherlands-America Foundation supports the scholarship as part of its exchange work between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the United States. Applications are due by October 8 through the program website linked in the original announcement.
