ORANJESTAD (AAN) – IBiSA Camp 2026 registration is now open as the Instituto Biba Saludabel y Activo (IBiSA) prepares for another edition of its annual summer camp, offering children a week of sports, recreation, and educational activities during the school holidays.

The camp will be held at two locations across Aruba. Children living above the bridge will attend activities at the IBiSA Sports Center in San Nicolas, while those below the bridge will participate at Club Kibrahacha. The program will run for one week beginning July 27, with daily sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The summer camp is open to children between 6 and 12 years old. Registration costs AWG 35 per participant, and enrollment is limited to 100 children at each location, allowing a total of 200 participants across both camps.

Gerro Koolman, head of the IBiSA Sports Center in San Nicolas, said the camp will feature a variety of educational and recreational activities. Children will enjoy informative talks, sports such as football and volleyball, creative arts sessions, and outdoor activities designed to encourage healthy living, teamwork, and personal development.

Parents who wish to register their children must first complete the online registration form available through the IBiSA Facebook page. After selecting the preferred camp location and submitting the form, they must complete the registration process in person.

To finalize enrollment, parents are required to visit IBiSA Oranjestad between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., or IBiSA San Nicolas between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. During the visit, they must pay the AWG 35 registration fee and present a valid AZV or other health insurance card.

Koolman also encouraged parents to ensure their children wear comfortable clothing suitable for sports, including closed-toe athletic shoes, so they can safely participate in all planned activities. He concluded by reminding parents to drop off and pick up their children on time to help ensure the camp runs smoothly and provides a positive experience for every participant.
