Ateliers ’89 Punto Di Beyas Arte Aruba has announced its upcoming workshop focused on graphic design. The foundation has extended a special invitation to Master Artist and Graphic Designer Evelino Fingal, known locally as the designer of Aruba’s Florin banknotes, to lead the course.
Fingal is a celebrated figure in the Aruban community, having gained international recognition for his work on the first series of Aruban currency. The one-month workshop is designed to help students develop their creative eye and master composition techniques. Classes are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 25, 2026, running three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
The curriculum includes four specific assignments: creating a logotype, designing a menu or flyer, producing a stamp series, and creating an album or book cover. Fingal will guide participants in creating products that are both balanced and attractive to the consumer. The workshop offers an opportunity for local artists to learn from one of the island’s most renowned designers.
