Government Structure Criticism : The MEP faction has criticized the current AVP-FUTURO coalition for failing to establish a clear governmental structure one year into administration. The faction points to the lack of approval for the Landsverordening Instelling Ministeries (LIM), which leaves ministerial responsibilities officially undefined.
According to the MEP, this ambiguity creates confusion internally and hampers parliamentary oversight. The situation was highlighted when a minister other than the Minister-President appeared in Parliament to answer for a portfolio that formally falls under the Prime Minister’s office. The faction argues that operating without defined lines of responsibility undermines transparency and citizen confidence.
The MEP stated that serious governance begins with clarity regarding who is responsible for specific tasks. The faction called on the government to finalize its internal organization to ensure accountability and restore public trust in the administration.
