More Options for Future Students Lead to Better Opportunities

Recently, the official opening of Ban Studia and Education USA was announced, providing future students opportunities to access all kinds of information and receive assistance for advanced studies.

During a press conference and ceremony, Ramon Negron, a representative from the U.S. Consulate, shared his thoughts on the initiative.

He explained that around 30 years ago, it was very difficult to apply for studies in the United States. “I’m from Puerto Rico, which is part of the U.S., but up until 5 years ago, it was very difficult to send my two daughters to college because the process was so complicated,” Negron said.

He emphasized the importance of looking for ways to finance studies, exploring scholarship opportunities, and determining the best path to take for pursuing education abroad. Future students opportunities like these are critical in expanding the possibilities for higher education.

He further highlighted that programs like Education USA are essential for guiding students on how to navigate the process and find the best options for their studies.

“We hope that this program, in partnership with Minister Gerlien Croes, will work as we envision it, allowing future students opportunities to study in the U.S. to become one of the many possibilities for advanced education,” Negron added.

He stressed that it is crucial for future students to have complete information on all study opportunities, including studying in the U.S.

“The more options future students have, the better,” Negron concluded.
