ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Aruba’s Ministry of Kingdom Relations, Education, Youth, Innovation and Sport has officially launched Ban Studia, a national higher education hub designed to help students transition from secondary school to higher education.
The initiative aims to provide equal access to information, guidance, and support for students pursuing studies in Aruba or abroad, recognizing the importance of building a highly skilled workforce for the island’s future.
Ban Studia serves as a one-stop center for secondary school graduates, adult learners, first-generation students, and parents seeking guidance on educational opportunities.
The hub offers personalized academic and career guidance, assistance with university admissions, scholarship and financial aid information, visa and housing support, and follow-up services to help students succeed during their first year of study.
As part of the initiative, EducationUSA has been fully integrated into Ban Studia. While maintaining its international accreditation standards, EducationUSA will continue providing specialized guidance for students interested in studying in the United States.
According to Minister Gerlien Croes, the initiative is intended to simplify the higher education process and expand opportunities for Aruban students pursuing advanced education locally and internationally.
