ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Leerorkest Aruba delivered an impressive concert this week, bringing together more than 600 students from six schools on stage at the Renaissance Convention Center.
The event showcased the power of music education and highlighted the remarkable talent that students have developed throughout the school year.
Currently, Leerorkest Aruba serves approximately 620 children through its school music program and an additional 100 children through its after-school program, providing music education opportunities to hundreds of young people across Aruba.
Prime Minister Mike Eman and Deputy Prime Minister Gerlien Croes attended the performance to witness firsthand the results of this important educational and cultural initiative.
The concert demonstrated how music can contribute to personal development, creativity, and learning while giving students an opportunity to perform before a large audience and celebrate their achievements.
Leerorkest Aruba continues to play a significant role in expanding access to music education and fostering artistic growth among Aruba’s youth.
