ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The first edition of “Breathe + Reconnect + Relax” concluded successfully, marking the launch of a wellness program dedicated to supporting professionals in Aruba’s education sector.
The initiative, led by the Ministry of Education and implemented by IBiSA with support from Moore Bida and other local partners, offered a series of activities focused on improving physical and mental well-being.
The inaugural edition featured three guided walks at Natural Bridge during the full moon, Anker Blauw in Sero Colorado at sunrise, and the California Lighthouse at sunset. Throughout the program, educators had the opportunity to walk, meditate, and reconnect with themselves while enjoying Aruba’s natural surroundings.
Minister of Education Gerlien Croes thanked all educators who participated, saying their involvement made the program a meaningful and memorable experience.
The Ministry of Education emphasized the importance of initiatives like this in strengthening educator well-being, motivation, and resilience, while encouraging those who missed the first edition to participate in future sessions.
The Government of Aruba reaffirmed its commitment to investing in the well-being of educators, recognizing their essential role in shaping the country’s future.
