ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Police responded shortly after midnight on Thursday to a report of possible vandalism or attempted theft near the Sasaki Roundabout.

Upon arrival, officers learned that the owner of a parked vehicle discovered one of the car’s side windows had been shattered after returning from watching the Colombia versus Uzbekistan football match.

The vehicle owner was unable to determine whether the damage resulted from an attempted theft, as no valuables had been left inside the vehicle and all other belongings remained untouched. It is also unclear whether the incident was an act of vandalism or intentional property damage.
