ORANJESTAD, Aruba – The annual Olympic Day celebration will take place this Saturday as IBiSA and Aruba Bank host the IBiSA Kids Run & Olympic Day Celebration at Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium.
The event returns to the stadium after several years and is expected to welcome more than 750 participants, ranging from young children to teenagers. Participants will have the opportunity to compete on the newly renovated athletics track in a festive and energetic atmosphere.
Awards and participation certificates will be presented in the celebration area located at the Entertainment Center.
As part of the Olympic Day festivities, various member federations of the Aruba Olympic Committee (COA) will host interactive booths at the Entertainment Center. Olympic athletes and members of TEAMARU will also be present to meet attendees and share their experiences.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take photos with the Olympic torches and participate in various activities designed to promote sports and physical activity in Aruba.
The Aruba Olympic Committee invites the public to attend the celebration starting at 6:00 a.m. at Guillermo Prospero Trinidad Stadium and the Entertainment Center to experience the excitement of Olympic Day and celebrate sports in Aruba.
