ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Tourist Declines Hospital Visit After Ambulance Fee Explained after emergency responders treated the visitor following a slip-and-fall incident in Aruba’s hotel zone during the early hours of Sunday.
An ambulance was dispatched to the High-Rise Hotel area after authorities received a report that a tourist had slipped and fallen following rainfall.
Tourist Treated at the Scene
Paramedics arrived promptly and assessed the tourist’s condition, providing the necessary medical attention at the scene.
After the initial evaluation, ambulance personnel explained the cost associated with transportation to the hospital.
Hospital Transport Declined
According to the report, the tourist decided not to be transported to the hospital after learning about the ambulance transportation fee.
No further information was released regarding the extent of the person’s injuries or whether additional medical treatment was sought independently.
