ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Driver Injured After Crashing Into Wall in Santa Cruz after the driver of a Honda City reportedly lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve near Santana in Santa Cruz during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police and ambulance personnel were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a traffic collision involving injuries.
Driver Loses Control Near Santana
According to the preliminary police investigation, the driver was travelling through the curve below Santana when the vehicle lost control and crashed into the wall surrounding a residential property.
The force of the impact caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the property, while the driver sustained injuries.
Driver Transported to Hospital
Paramedics treated the injured driver at the scene before transporting the individual to the hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
Firefighters were also called to the location to clean up engine oil that had spilled onto the roadway following the collision, helping to prevent additional hazards for motorists.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
