ORANJESTAD (AAN) – The Sports Administration Course (SAC) continued this week with the final module of its first phase, focusing on the role of a president within a sports organization.
Instructor Dave Martinus led the session, concentrating on effective meeting management and parliamentary procedures that help sports organizations operate efficiently. Participants not only studied the theoretical aspects of leadership but also worked on group projects to apply the concepts in practical situations that could occur within Aruba’s sporting community.
Aruba Olympic Committee (COA) President Wanda Broeksema also attended the session, sharing her experience as the leader of a sports organization and contributing valuable insights to the participants.
Broeksema congratulated everyone taking part in the course, noting that their participation demonstrates a commitment to working together to improve the level of sports administration and development in Aruba.
The course participants delivered strong presentations and showed significant interest in learning how to effectively manage and lead sports organizations.
The SAC program continues to strengthen leadership skills within Aruba’s sports sector by providing practical training and professional development opportunities for current and future sports administrators.
