ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Police Issue Fines to Motorcyclists Causing Noise Near Aruba High-Rise Hotels early Sunday morning after responding to complaints about excessive motorcycle engine revving in the island’s hotel district.
Police patrols were dispatched following reports of loud motorcycle noise near the High-Rise hotel area, where the riders were allegedly revving their engines and disturbing the surrounding area.
When officers arrived, they found several motorcyclists at the location.
According to police, some of the riders were issued traffic fines for their behaviour.
Officers also reminded the motorcyclists to be considerate of visitors staying in nearby hotels, explaining that tourists come to the area to enjoy their vacation and that excessive noise late at night can disturb both hotel guests and others in the vicinity.
Authorities continue to encourage motorists and motorcyclists to respect noise regulations and help maintain a peaceful environment in Aruba’s tourism districts.
