ORANJESTAD, Aruba – Woman Arrested After Confrontation With Police in Aruba after officers intervened to address her driving behaviour and she allegedly directed abusive language toward them.
According to the report, police approached a woman who had recently arrived from the Netherlands after observing her behaviour in traffic.
Officers spoke with the woman regarding the incident before returning to their patrol vehicle.
As the officers were leaving, the woman allegedly shouted abusive remarks at them.
Police immediately returned and placed the woman under arrest.
She was transported to a police station, where she was held while officers attended to other emergency calls requiring police assistance.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding possible charges or the outcome of the incident.
