Royal Power Wins Tat Fat defeated Kudawecha Redskins with a score of 12-5 during the opening match of the Copa Noord 2026 at the Centro di Bario Noord. The tournament, organized by Calabas Blue Jays, was dedicated to five community pillars: Lea Tromp, Maria Boekhoudt, Aldrin Boekhoudt, Jeta De Cuba, and Lenin Ashby.
Despite giving up three runs in the first inning, starting pitcher Jomark Flanegin helped Royal Power rally. The Redskins initially led 3-0, fueled by double plays in the first two innings. Royal Power took a 4-3 lead in the third inning, driven by a triple from Giandrick Lacle.
Kudawecha Redskins briefly regained the lead 5-4 in the top of the fifth inning. However, Royal Power dominated the bottom of the fifth, scoring eight runs. Key hits came from Darl Quandes, Edmar Tromp, Jerieel Rafael, Keith Hooker, and Yeifi “Tuly” Silva, sealing the final score. Flanegin secured the win.
