Police and ambulance crews responded early Friday morning to a report of a young person causing a disturbance at a home in Santa Cruz, Aruba.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the individual has Down syndrome and was experiencing a period of distress.
Paramedics attended to the young person at the scene, helping to calm the situation. The individual later settled down and went to sleep, and no further medical intervention was required.
