The King Willem Alexander Movemento ta Bida visit highlighted the importance of elderly care and social cohesion during his official visit to Aruba.

As part of his ongoing agenda, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander visited the Centro di Bario y Deporte Dakota, where he held a special meeting with Fundacion Movemento ta Bida, recipient of the prestigious Appeltje van Oranje 2024 award.

The King was accompanied by Prime Minister Mike Eman and Vice Prime Minister Gerlien Croes, along with other government representatives who participated in the visit.

The King Willem Alexander Movemento ta Bida visit focused on the foundation’s vital role in strengthening community cohesion, with particular emphasis on the well-being, participation, and integration of the elderly within society.

Fundacion Movemento ta Bida is dedicated to creating spaces where older adults can remain active, socially connected, and positively engaged in the community.
