ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Carlos Martinus, director of OABA (Openbaar Avond Beroepsonderwijs Aruba), has invited the public to attend an information evening on Monday, May 11, at 6:00 p.m. at the EPB-HATO building.
During an interview with DIARIO, Martinus explained that the event will provide information about educational opportunities while allowing visitors to have individual conversations with staff members.
“We will be there to provide information and exchange ideas with everyone. People can introduce themselves, leave their phone numbers, and we will help them. We always try to personalize programs for every student,” Martinus stated.
He encouraged attendees to arrive with an open mind and a willingness to work on their future.
Martinus also emphasized that OABA continues searching for ways to assist anyone interested in technical education or vocational training.
According to him, the school currently has sufficient space, but additional space will be created if necessary to support student demand.
“Our goal is to help everyone who comes here,” he said.
Martinus highlighted the dedication of OABA’s evening teaching staff, noting that positive word-of-mouth recommendations from teachers continue attracting new students.
He also advised students already enrolled in regular secondary education programs to complete those studies before beginning a new vocational path at OABA.
Martinus concluded by encouraging anyone interested in learning technical skills or pursuing a trade profession to visit OABA and explore the available opportunities.
