ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Marjory Chantal Bermudes has earned a Bachelor of Organization, Governance and Management (OGM) from the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Aruba.
Her thesis, titled “Labor Rights Awareness Among Employees in Aruba’s Private and Semi-Public Sectors,” examined the factors influencing employees’ knowledge of labor rights, including union activity, education level, work experience, contract type and employment sector.
Bermudes said her research aims to support greater labor rights education while contributing to future policies and initiatives that strengthen worker protection in Aruba.
She expressed gratitude to God, her family, the University of Aruba faculty, internship organizations, colleagues and all stakeholders who participated in the research, saying their support made the study possible. Bermudes hopes her findings will encourage further dialogue and action on labor rights in Aruba.
