ORANJESTAD (AAN) – Lillyputters Speelschool Holds Unique 2026 Graduation as students, teachers, parents, and guests gathered at the ballroom of Double Down Cafe to celebrate the school’s graduating class of 2026.
The ceremony featured a colorful crayon theme and the motto “From Lillyputters to Kindergarten,” marking the children’s transition to the next stage of their education.

The event was hosted for the 12th consecutive year by Addonsito Croes, a well-known contributor to DIARIO.
Students appeared in graduation gowns and received enthusiastic applause from the audience as they took part in the ceremony.
The program also included live performances of children’s songs written by Lilly Arends. The songs were performed by the students together with teachers Nadesca, Suhein, and Lilly.

Appreciation for Parents and Staff
In her message, teacher Lilly thanked the parents and students for the trust they placed in Lillyputters Speelschool during the past two years.
She also expressed appreciation to teachers Nadesca and Suhein, as well as Darinka, Darienne, Mila, Kami, Whitney, Gino, Mikey, and the staff and personnel of Double Down Cafe for helping make the graduation possible.
More Than Five Decades in Early Childhood Education
Lilly Arends has dedicated a total of 51 years to working as an early childhood educator.
Of those years, she has spent 48 years building and leading Lillyputters Speelschool, making her a longstanding figure in Aruba’s early childhood education community.
The graduation celebrated not only the students’ achievements but also the school’s continued commitment to preparing young children for kindergarten in a supportive and engaging learning environment.
