HOH Verifies Patient Contact Numbers for New System

Horacio Oduber Hospital (HOH) has introduced a new electronic patient system designed to improve service and operational efficiency for the Aruban community. To ensure the system functions effectively, the hospital is currently conducting a campaign to verify patient contact information.

The eDesk department is calling registered patients to confirm their phone numbers. Accurate contact details are essential as the hospital prepares to implement SMS reminders for appointments, medical tests, and specialist consultations. HOH emphasizes that patient privacy is a top priority and advises caution when sharing personal information over the phone.

Residents receiving a call from the hospital can verify the authenticity by checking for the general HOH number, 527-4000, on their caller ID. If there is any doubt about the call, community members are encouraged to hang up and call 527-4000 directly to ask for the eDesk department.
