ORANJESTAD, Aruba — Aruba’s government has announced a third Cuida Aruba cleanup for Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, inviting residents to help keep the island clean.
Drop-off system adjusted for the third edition
Organizers will retain five waste-separation categories while making changes based on the first two editions. Public drop-off points are scheduled to operate from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to speed unloading and move more material.
Organizers seek lasting behaviour change
Crisis Management Office director Rino Hermans said the Cuida Aruba cleanup is intended to build lasting habits, not only remove waste for two days. The aim is to reduce renewed dumping in areas already cleaned.
