ORANJESTAD, Aruba — The Government of Aruba has signed a contract with BK Consultant Civiel-Bouwkundig Advies Bureau N.V. for the Wilhelminastraat revitalization design in central Oranjestad.
Project moves beyond vision and selection
The contract, signed September 18, advances the project into final design and technical preparation. Construction planning and detailed documentation are expected to follow before physical work begins.
Renewal targets access and historic identity
Infrastructure Minister Rene Herdé said the project is intended to improve mobility, sustainability and functional infrastructure while preserving the area’s historic identity. Three government offices are collaborating on the effort.
