KFC Aruba launched the ‘Cosecha di Coronel’ initiative at Colegio Conrado Coronel on May 23, 2026, as part of a community and educational program. The project, celebrating World Environment Day, aims to teach children about sustainability, healthy living, and the food journey from seed to table.
The garden provides a hands-on classroom where students learn to plant, care for, and harvest vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, radishes, beans, and yams. KFC Aruba employees, volunteers, teachers, and students worked together to clean and renovate the garden, including replacing shade structures and improving planting areas to create a healthier environment for growth.
This initiative honors the legacy of Colonel Sanders and promotes nutrition, responsibility, and community involvement while educating children on sustainable gardening practices for years to come.
