A violent dispute erupted on Sunday evening outside a Christian mass located on Caya Betico Croes, requiring police intervention and resulting in medical treatment for two individuals. The incident reportedly originated from a conflict over a parking space, involving a man claiming to be the head of the Dominican Consulate who confronted the occupants of a vehicle parked in his designated spot.
According to accounts from the scene, the individual expressed his dissatisfaction by striking his hands against the hood of the car. A young man subsequently exited the vehicle and began shouting for the man to calm down. The situation quickly escalated, with witnesses reporting that shots were fired and physical aggression took place between the parties involved.
Police officers arrived at the location in significant numbers, accompanied by emergency medical services. Paramedics provided immediate assistance to two victims: an elderly man who was with the individual claiming to represent the consulate, and the young man involved in the confrontation. The young man sustained a fractured arm and received medical treatment at the scene.
