Aruban police arrested a man in the Papaya district early Monday morning following a reported domestic disturbance. Authorities received a report regarding a relationship issue in the area and immediately dispatched a patrol unit to the location to address the situation.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers determined that the incident was caused by a man who was under the influence of alcohol. The police attempted to resolve the situation by speaking with the individual, but he refused to cooperate or listen to the officers’ instructions.
As a result of his non-compliance and intoxication, the police were obligated to take him into custody. The arrest was made on charges related to public drunkenness to ensure order was restored in the area.
