Aruba will resonate with jazz rhythms during the 21st edition of Carlos Bislip’s Jazz Expo. As the longest-running jazz production in Aruba, the event celebrates UNESCO’s International Jazz Day and the close of Jazz Appreciation Month. The musical evening takes place at Scratch Kitchen Aruba (Palm Beach Plaza Mall) at 7:00 PM. Audiences will enjoy a journey ranging from classic ‘Swing’ to Tropical rhythms, featuring the ‘Great American Songbook’ and original compositions. The program includes three acts: 1. The Caribbean Combo: Talented students from the Rufo Wever Music School. 2. Carlos Bislip Quartet: Featuring Ivan Quandus, Serghio Jansen, Carlos Bislip, and special guest Dr. Mariano Morales Matos from Puerto Rico. 3. Jazz Vocalists: A showcase including Lucre Houtman, Tabitha Smith-Heemstadt, Solaica Clarinda, and others. Admission is free.
