Long Table Aruba is celebrating its eighth anniversary this year with a donation of $60,000 to a local organization. Suhaila Giel, Local Marketing Manager at Renaissance Aruba, confirmed that the event has once again sold out, continuing its tradition as a popular community gathering.
According to Giel, the initiative functions as a vital platform to support the community by raising funds for local causes. To compete for the $60,000 prize, 21 institutions submitted 30-second videos which are now online. Giel invites the public to participate by voting for their favorite project on the Long Table Aruba Facebook page through May 31.
The event aims to provide an unforgettable experience for the 1,000 attendees, complete with fine dining, excellent wines, and top-tier live entertainment. The highlight of the evening will be the official presentation of the funds to the winning entity. Giel noted that reserved tickets must be picked up and paid for at the Renaissance Convention Center by Friday, May 22. Following this deadline, tickets will be assigned to a waiting list, which is already extensive due to the high demand experienced since the event’s launch.
