ORANJESTAD, Aruba — A stolen motorcycle in Bubali was recovered after the mother of a minor recognized her son in circulated security footage and pressed him to return the vehicle, according to DIARIO.
Security video helped identify the youths
The report said three people with covered faces entered a property and took an AKT motorcycle. Video circulated on social media, where viewers reportedly recognized clothing and tattoos. The mother of one youth identified her son and insisted that he disclose where the motorcycle had been hidden.
Police recovered a second stolen vehicle
A related report said the youths apparently used a stolen Nissan double-cab pickup during the motorcycle theft. The pickup was later found near FCCA homes in Bushiri without licence plates, and police seized it for further investigation.
The source said no complaint had initially been filed over the motorcycle, so the youths were not arrested in that matter. It remained unclear whether the pickup connection would lead to further action.
