An Aruba entrepreneurship workshop scheduled for September 29 will focus on financial management and employee insurance for current and prospective business owners.
IDEA opens third phase of masterclass series
According to 24ora, the Department of Economic Affairs, Commerce and Industry is organizing the session through its IDEA unit. The workshop, titled “Ready to Grow: Managing Your Finances & Employee Insurance,” is the first session in the third phase of the Masterclass Entrepreneurship program.
The program is designed to give existing and aspiring entrepreneurs practical information for managing and developing a business. Finance Minister Geoffrey Wever said business owners need tools for understanding their finances, their responsibilities as employers and decisions supporting sustainable growth.
Finance and employee obligations on the agenda
Edward Erasmus of Erasmus Consulting & Training will lead the financial-management segment. Cristian Garcia of Sociale Verzekeringsbank will discuss employee insurance and employer obligations. The session is planned for 9 a.m. to noon at Cas Veneranda, with time for questions and discussion.
